Psychology Society is open to Fifth and Sixth Form students. We invite professional psychologists to talk about their work and career paths, giving a fascinating insight into the ways Psychology can be used to help people. Many of these are also relevant for those applying to medical courses, or interested in the criminal justice system, or the business world. Students give talks on topics they have researched beyond the A level syllabus. Sometimes they give brief presentations on practical research carried out as part of Directed Study or summer projects. And occasionally students attending Psych Soc may be used as participants in research (all with due consideration of informed consent, of course). See here for a list of recent presentations.
