Sailing and Paddleboarding
The School sailing club will start again at SWAC on 25th April. For your child’s safety, sailing sessions will run in small consistent groups and beginners will be taught in single handed boats. We plan to run a beginners course covering RYA Youth Stages 1+2 as well as teaching more advanced skills to pupils who already have their stage 2 or equivalent.
Sailing will run from 9am-12pm on the following Sundays before half term (these dates are FULL)
25th April, 9th, May 16th, May 23rd May
You can sign up now for sessions after half term, which will run on
13th, 20th, 27th June
The cost for these 3 sessions is £20. If you would like your child to participate then please make your payment here by14th May and complete the form here and the consent form above. The consent form should be sent to Mrs Paul (email@example.com).
Please note numbers are limited and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Priority will be given to pupils who have not sailed with school already this academic year. There will be another opportunity to sign up in september when we should be able to increase capacity.
Pupils should be dropped at SWAC at 9am and collected at 12pm. They should bring a swimming costume, towel and shoes that can get wet, as well as a water bottle and sun cream. Buoyancy aids and wetsuits can be provided.

Paddleboarding will run after school on the following tuesdays after half term.
Pupils will be taken to SWAC via school mini bus and should bring a swimming costume, towel and shoes that can get wet. Buoyancy aids and wetsuits will be provided. Collection is from SWAC at 6.00pm or KES at 6.20pm.

The cost for these paddleboard sessions is £10 (one payment covers all 4 sessions) which can be paid here. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Another course will run next term if there is sufficient demand.
