From its foundation in 1553 to the present day, King Edward’s has been fully committed to giving its service to the wider community, both locally in Southampton and further afield. Today, King Edward’s is proud of the great range of contributions currently made to the community by the School as an institution and by its individual members.
Whether it be flying out to work on a farm in Goedgedacht, South Africa, experiencing life at a school in Charlotte, USA, or Qingdao in North-Eastern China, taking the minibus on Summer Camp with Young Carers from Southampton, or walking down Wilton Road to read with pupils at Shirley Junior School, we are determined to ensure that service to others remains very much at the heart of King Edward’s.
