Mindfulness for Parents

8-week Mindfulness for KES Parents Course

This is an introductory Mindfulness course for parents, called .b Foundations, designed by the Mindfulness in Schools Project (MiSP) www.mindfulnessinschools.org. Please explore the MiSP website for the research into the benefits of learning to practise mindfulness. This will be taught by Annie Davison the School Counsellor who, certified to teach by Mindfulness in School Project. The course offers you the opportunity to:

• learn practical ways to feel calmer, less stressed, more energised;

• learn mindfulness skills to share with your family, or to support your child taking the .b for Teens Mindfulness course after school.

Course details

Through group learning and discussion you will explore how mindful awareness can support your health and wellbeing and that of your family. The training includes some reading and twenty minutes daily practice, following guided mindfulness meditations.

For your convenience we have arranged for Annie Davison to run this course from our Hill Lane site.
