Bus Prefects act as a point of contact for pupils on each bus. At the start of the school year prefects are provided with a written brief of the action to take in an emergency and receive a verbal briefing from the Assistant Head Pastoral.
Places on the buses are allocated in strict order of receipt of the online Bus Registration Form. The termly fare is charged on the school bill issued by the Accounts Department. If parents wish to terminate the use of the bus, one term's written notice is required (via letter or email to the Head of Operations) otherwise full payment for the term will be charged.
Should you require any further details regarding the operation of the KETA Bus Service then please contact Neal Baker, Head of Operations email@example.com
**FIRST DAY OF AUTUMN TERM**
The buses will run to their normal timetable on the first day of the Autumn Term, even though pupil start times may differ throughout the day.
To accommodate those pupils who participate in after school activities we offer a Late Bus service which operates separate bus routes to the day time routes. Please note that the late buses do not have all the same drop off points as daily buses. They are intended to save parents/guardians the drive into Southampton during rush hour.
The late bus stops only if requested by passengers as they board the bus. Late buses depart at 17:30 hrs each evening with the exception of last day of any term and Open Evening. Details of the routes can be found here - Late Buses.

New Pupils (KES) (commencing at the beginning of the forthcoming academic year) To apply for a bus place please complete the online Bus Registration Form. Bus places are allocated on a first come first served basis and this takes place during the Summer Term after the Tender process is complete.
Some of the routes are very popular so if a waiting list exists for a chosen route more places may become available after the GCSE results in August. In this case applicants will be informed immediately. If a space is still not available details will be retained on file (if requested) and applicants informed as soon as space becomes available.
Current Pupils (KES) (during the academic year) To apply for a bus place please complete the online Bus Registration Form. If a space exists on your requested bus route, a space will be allocated immediately or on the start date requested.
