Studying Spanish in the Sixth Form is both challenging and rewarding and students combine Spanish with a wide variety of subjects.
Students have eleven or twelve lessons with three teachers during the two week cycle and, in addition, students spend ½ hour every week with the Spanish Assistant.
Students are encouraged to take part in the Spanish trip to Salamanca during February half term, and the vast majority do take this opportunity.
At present the students use AQA A Level as their main course book. Additionally, students are required and encouraged to access current and topical Spanish through the internet, with the School's website supporting their learning through links and further exercises.
The current Sixth Form are preparing for the new AQA A level linear specification which is examined at the end of their Upper Sixth year.
