Grade VIII and Diploma piano pupils enjoyed an inspiring masterclass with Philp Jenkins on 11th February. Philip is widely recognised as one of Britain's most sought-after teachers. He studied with Harold Craxton at the Royal Academy of Music in London, in Paris with Jacques Fevrier, and then with the legendary pianist Dame Myra Hess. Philip Jenkins' career as soloist and chamber music player has taken him to many parts of the world including North America, the Far East and throughout Europe. He is professor of piano at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
