On Friday, the KES Chamber Choir performed in a concert in the Dobson
Theatre alongside the Winchester Cathedral Chamber Choir. The performance
included Vaughan Williams' Five Mystical Songs with
professional soloist Andrew De Silva, as well as a heart-warming rendition of
Elgar's Songs from the Bavarian Highlands. This was an excellent
opportunity to sing alongside one of the county's leading choirs and provided a
valuable learning experience to all. Many thanks to Mr Belassie for all his
work learning the piano accompaniment, and to Mr Castle for conducting the
rehearsal and concert
