The Music Department welcomed composer Jono Buchanan to the department this week, exploring the life of a professional musician working in the music industry. He gave inspiring insight into the working life of a musician and the creative possibilities there are for the next generation of budding music enthusiasts. Sharing his experiences and imparting invaluable advice he had us all reflecting on our musical passions, reminding us to continue to be diverse in our listening and ensuring self-confidence is at the heart of our musical expression.
