Careers advice from Brussels

Former KES pupil, Michael Swann of the European External Action Service in Brussels, visited the school on Monday 21st November to deliver a Sixth Form careers talk and lunchtime information session. Mr Swann charted his career path since leaving KES, giving some useful advice on how to establish a career and commenting from a non-linguist's point of view on how languages are useful in his work. The Q & A session following his talk was an illuminating insight into the impact of the recent Brexit vote.
