Bodas de Sangre

On Tuesday 29th November, twenty KES A Level Spanish students travelled to London to see a performance of 'Bodas de Sangre' ('Blood Wedding'). This is a play written by Federico García Lorca, the author studied in the Upper Sixth year, so it was very poignant and useful for the course. The play was performed at the newly-opened Cervantes Theatre, which aims to only produce shows and cultural events linked to the Spanish and Latin American world. A thoroughly enjoyable, albeit late, night was had by all.
