On Saturday 1st April thirty-four students and six staff departed for the annual school ski trip. The weather, at the start of the week, was mixed but during the last two days the group skied in glorious sunshine. The conditions at the top of the mountain were excellent but lower down the slopes the snow became very slushy in the afternoon. The level of instruction was excellent and the students remained focused in their lessons thus making very good progress. At the end of the week Ned Clarke received the highest ski award amongst the party; he was also the only member of the party to land a 360 while out with the instructor. The highlight of the evening entertainment was a visit to the bowling alley, closely followed by the game of Jenga played between Stephanie Judd and Emily Price against Mr Brown and Mr Lewis!
