On Friday 28th September the girls' Under 14 hockey squad participated in the U14 Hampshire Hockey Cup Tournament at Southampton Sports Centre. The competition was played in a round robin format playing 6 other teams from the county.
The KES team drew with Churchers College 0-0 and won against Kings School Winchester 4-0. Sophie Ridley scored a hat trick in this game. They also beat Lord Wandsworth College 1-0, Hampshire Collegiate School 3-0 and Ballard School 5-0. Sophie Ridley scored another hat trick in this game. The final game saw a close encounter with Portsmouth Grammar School which resulted in a 0-0 draw. These excellent results meant that the girls finished first in the tournament and became Hampshire Cup Tournament winners.
